But, let me explain....
I don't feel like I'm working most of the time... I usually get to pick my own projects here at ProSoap. If something on my infamous "to do list" continues to get rewritten on the next day's chapter of "to-do's" then it's probably because I'm not very passionate about doing it. As logic would have it, if you see me working diligently on a task, chances are that I'm very passionate about that task.
If a person, visitor, salesman, family member, friend or foe, walks into the ProSoap office and sees my upbeat and smiling face, the assumption is that I can't possibly be doing something that could generate revenue or improve the company's status. Is that weird? You'd be surprised how often I am accused of not working at my desk. Most of the time I let it roll off quickly because I know that I'm doing things that will improve some aspect of the company (most of the time).
To bring this around full circle, yes, I feel like in a given week, I really do only fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. This is the amount of time that Billy Self spends on items that I'm NOT passionate about and thus are deemed work minutes, because I do not enjoyed spending time with that given task.
I salute you, Peter Gibbons, for pointing out the obvious aspect in our daily work.

You not only suffer from the grammatical disease that I endure while posting, but your exaggeration and propensity to distort the truth is disconcerting.
I am one of the poor saps that has graced the entrance of ProSoap. My most recent "drop-in" found Silly Belf diligently packing orders in the warehouse.
So ... you're full of crap. I just proved how often you ARE working with one random visit. In fact, another time that I visited, you practically threw me out the front door yelling "No, no, no ... I'm working over here ... no time for you."
So much for ProSoap Team hospitality. I did get a water once though ...
At least you linked to an 8 minute clip of movie that rocks. Hmmm ... maybe you aren't working!
This post sucked - if you're going to be wasting work time posting to the blog that bears your name, I call for better quality!
AND I'M NOT WORKING EITHER! BECAUSE I DON"T WANT TO! HAH!
Wow...between your post and my darling husband's comment, I now can envision the rapid decline of Corporate America.
While I run myself ragged, washing clothes, chasing children, cleaning up dog feces, and slaving over a hot stove (okay, microwave), you gentlemen relax behind your little desks, eyes glassed over from staring at your computer monitors, playing fantasy football, hockey, etc. while deciding whether to consume Tex-Mex or "that little Italian joint" for lunch.
You have it rough, I must say...
Hugs to all...GET TO WORK!
How do have time to post comments at 3:30 in the afternoon if you're "running your self ragged"?
Hmmm ...
